Peer Reviews

Personally I do not really like peer reviews. In the past when I am doing a review I will take my time going over the paper and try to give some real positive feedback on how to help someone with their papers. I have always found the responses back to me have been short, and normally like I love your paper great job I like .... best. I really do not want responses like that. I want a response to tell me something I can improve on. Not necessarily something I have done wrong but there are always spots that people can improve on and that is what I am more so looking for. I think each person is different and I may get a review from someone that will be helpful. But up to this point I have not really gotten any real feedback from peer reviews that I have found helpful in revising my papers.

Last 6 weeks.

The last six weeks have been very difficult for me personally. School has become more intense. Writing two papers for two different classes is a lot harder then it seems. Not only do you have the papers but keeping up with all the work quizes discussion board posts and reading is very hard. I also have re located at work to a busier store, so that makes it harder in my life as well. It also is 30 minute drive versus the 5 minute down the road I used to work. The to add to the stress the other designer that worked there quit. So now I am working there alone trying to keep up with the client demand as well as fixing others issues as well as my own on top of school. Late nights because I have no help makes it harder to make it to class as well. Then I still have my 4 year old to try to keep up with and keep him happy as well. I think when they hire another designer things will settle down for me. I can not wait for that to happen.

School

The question is... How is school influencing my life at or up to this point?
My life is very hectic at this point. Planning a wedding, raising a 4 year old and working full time as well as keeping up with school is very difficult. My schedule with work is crazy as is, and working school into it is a challenge. I also think that it helps me keep my life going, as far as keeping to schedules and keeping myself busy. I am always doing something, I am always on the go. I think that school has been a very positive experience for me. It keeps me in a positive mind set and knowing that I am doing something for the better always makes me feel good. I know that all this hard work will pay off in the long run just got to keep at it.

Plagerism

Question is: What would you do if someone used your work and did not give you credit for it. First it would really depend on the situation on what I would do. If it was school related I would certainly discuss it with the student and possibly the teacher and or my academic advisor. I think that going to the student first would be the best step sometimes people wouldnt even realize they had done it. So it might be able to be taken care of on a lower level then pushing it right up to an authority level.
